Baby Bib from Man's Shirt

This bib is simple and fun.  Made from scraps from a shirt after I had made an apron from it.  I just used a traditional bib pattern and then sewed the cuff on the bottom like a pocket.  I reinforced both buttons to ensure that they will not be coming off.  Then cut a little pocket to add to the shirt look.  The bib is interfaced with some dense fleece type facing  that is designed to go under upholstery (like for a stool) and worked great.  The  interfacing fabric was free to me and I am glad to have a great use for it.  It is kind of like thick soft pelon and you can probably find it in the upholstery isle.  A second layer of flannel would also work fine inside to give it a little more body and protection so that moisture doesn't go right through it.
