Pen Pal Kit

I wish my kids could have the excitement of getting a special letter in the mail. Things have changed a lot since I was a kid. I have very special memories of sending and receiving letters from my cousin Gina. She was so creative, and would sometimes cut it up into a puzzle or write the words backwords,  funny girl that Gina. Even though years may pass between our visits, it helped create a bond that makes it feel like it was only yesterday.   I want my kids to remain close to their cousins who recently moved far away so this is what I came up with.

I am excited to send this pen pal kit to our "too far away" cousins. :'(  It includes self address stamped envelopes stationary and stickers. 

Of course before I send this I will have my kids send each of them a letter.  That concept is really blowing their minds right now, haha.  There are twice as many kids at their house than ours so its not a 5 minute task.

I encourage you to handwrite a letter to a special child in your life.  It will definitely make a huge impact.
