Cozy Fleece Robes

I made 9 of these robes while I was staying at my son's house during the last 2 weeks. I also cut out two more for a friend.   It was fun and the kids were so excited about them.  I made them without a pattern by just laying a long sleeved shirt down on the fabric and using it as a guideline to know how long the sleeves needed to be.  The rest I just winged for the hood and the length was measured to come below the knees where possible.  I could sew one up in 30 minutes.  I will make another one now that I am home and give you better instructions as I take pictures of the process. You will have to wait a few days for that though.  Oh, yeah and you surely should make some for the stuffed animals or dolls.  I helped some of the kids to sew these  their own.  And then, do not forget to make something for the dog!

The chevron striped robe is not cut down the front so it is like a "snuggy" with a back.  She loves it!  The dog likes her sweater too. Just by twice the length of the robe and that is all you need.
