Lacy top into a Lacy Skirt.

I have a bit of a shopping problem. Sometimes I buy something because the idea of it is so beautiful, but when I put it on its just not the case. I loved this shirt and HAD to have it.... Well, that was three years ago and it still hung in my closet. It just looks like a maternity top on me. So I finally decided to make it into a skirt.

I sewed up the armholes part way, to give it a couple more inches in length. Then cut straight across.

Then you can attach the waistband in whichever way you like,  I used a thick elastic and made a casing for it out of some really nice ivory fabric.
