Pioneer Costume

This cute pioneer trek costume was made for a very happy granddaughter.  She is going to be just stunning in her brightly colored outfit.  The bonnet is made from a pattern I printed from another site. Here http://www.sewchicpatterns.com/images/bonnet.pdf and the apron I just drew out and will do a tutorial later.  The skirt I bought at a thrift store for $5.00 and just remodeled it by cutting off the large waistband and making an elastic casing at the top making the skirt just the right length to come to her ankles.  the blouse was a $2.00 value from the thrift store.  Handkerchief print came from my stash.
