Dresses for Girls In Need (To Africa and Boise)

I was able to donate some little girls dresses to children in Africa. It was a heart warming experience to make them and then be able to send them with family members who were adopting there. Then I decided after that to donate dresses to the Women and Children's Center in Boise. They were pleased to get them and now I am sewing more and gathering them in my closet til I get a bunch of them again. I have recieved a lot of fabric from friends and used a lot of my stash and bought some too. I can't think of a better gift to give than to share your talents and what you have with others who cannot help themselves. Little children in need pull on my heart strings. That is why I sew dresses. My friendss and I also sent T shirts and shorts to orphaned boys in Africa. Every community has people in need. You can probably google your community and find just the right place for you.
