Purse Organizer for Mother's Day or Any Day

I love my new organizer.  I made two because there is a zipper in the middle of my favorite purse. I used drapery and upholstery fabric any heavy fabric will work or interface what you use.

Making a purse organizer, or in this case two of them is very simple if you do it this way.
1- Measure your purse and cut two squares the width of the purse.  Mine is 12"x12"
2-Then cut a rectangle the same width but 3" shorter.
3-Sew around  the matching squares Right sides together leaving an opening to turn it right side out.
4-Press and Top stitch around each double piece.
5-Now lay the smaller one on top of the larger one and sew a line across the center or if you want one side longer it can be a little to one end like my lighter colored and smaller one.
5- Now fold  two pieces so the smaller one is on the outside and stitch up the sides.  If your machine will not handle the thickness you may need to whip the sides  together by hand.
