Just Bleach 'em!

Here's the story: It was a year ago and I was looking through all the clearance racks at JCP's. I saw some colored skinny pants and thought, hmmm these green ones are my size. Colored pants are in right? I guess for $10 you can't go wrong anyway. When I got them home and eventually tried them on.... I thought, "What? I look like the Jolly green giant? Why did I think I was a person who could pull off wearing green pants?" That's just not me. So they sat and sat, and I thought if they were a little faded? well then maybe. So cut to a year later when I finally decide, hmmm maybe today is the day I will ruin those pants by trying to lighten them up a bit.

Since I really had nothing to lose, I filled the sink with cold water and 1 cup of bleach and stirred the pants around for 5 to 10 minutes.   Then I tossed them in the washer with laundry soap and dried them.
 EEEEEK, thats my favorite color, how lucky is that, I never imagined they would end up being my FAVORITE PANTS EVER!.

Here I am, on my way to my Birthday lunch. 
-the moral of the story, why not give it a shot?-  What do you have to loose, dye it, bleach it, refashion it.  Then share it with us!
