1-cut a piece of matching fabric for the extension on the lining. It is just a straight strip.
2-Pin the fabric to the lining to see that it fits. then sew the seam on the extension.
3- Sew the lining to the extension. This is a knit polyester that doesn't fray so it did not even need a hem.
